Kiwanis Club of Fargo Grant Application

Each year, the Kiwanis Club of Fargo proudly supports local nonprofit organizations through funds raised at our beloved Kiwanis Pancake Karnival. If your organization is making a difference in the lives of young people, we invite you to apply for a grant.

Funding Priorities

We focus our contributions on projects that:

• Serve youth from newborn through college age
• Impact a large number of young people
• Take place within our local community
• Offer opportunities for Kiwanis recognition
• Involve Kiwanis Club of Fargo members as volunteers

What We Typically Do Not Fund

• General operating expenses
• Permanent endowments (e.g., scholarships)
• Religious programs (unless open to all youth regardless of affiliation)

Application Guidelines

To be eligible, your organization must:

• Be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (please include IRS documentation)
• Provide a list of your Board of Directors

2. Email your completed application to [email protected].

What Happens Next

• Our Grants Committee will review your application.
• If additional information is needed, we’ll reach out.
• Approved applications are recommended to our Board of Directors.
• Some grants may require a vote by the general membership.
• Please allow a few months for the full review process.
